Easter message from Mrs Norman
To all the children and families of Great Coates Primary School,
Well we have made it to the end of the third week of isolation and I don’t know about you, but I miss school! I found it difficult staying at home not seeing my friends or wider family. Jessica and Thomas are now really bored and they finally admitted that they miss going to their schools too.
However, I keep reminding myself that it is so important that I stay at home and do what the government has told me, because that way things will return to normal, not sure when they will but I am looking forward to it when it happens.
All the staff at school are also missing it like crazy. However, they have kept themselves busy decorating eggs, have you seen the pictures of them? I made a lion, I am hoping I will extra points because I made mine first! If any of you have decorated an egg or done anything else fantastic, send it to the office email address and Mrs Cardy will share it on Facebook. Max did that and now we can all see how well he is getting on learning to play the piano.
I hope you are all keeping your self busy and not just playing on your playstation and xbox. (Imagine me saying that in my teacher voice)! Make the most of this time at home with your families, get crafty, learn to bake, plant something, watch a movie you’ve never seen before or read a book. Imagine the reading points you could build up, I hope Miss Deans has stocked up on reading prizes. Talking of Miss Deans, don’t forget to go on times tables Rock Stars and beat her, last time I looked she was still in the top 10!
Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a very happy Easter. Remember to stay at home and stay safe. I will see you all when this is over and I can’t wait.
Thinking of you all
