Message from Mrs Norman 14.1.21
I hope this message finds you all safe and well. Well done to all of you who are engaging with home learning and a huge thank you to all the parents, big brothers and sisters and whoever else is helping the children. All the staff at school appreciate it.
Some of you have been asking about devices to support your children with home learning. Some children and families have been lucky enough to receive a laptop from school already. These have been supplied by the Dfe, but at the moment we have only had six, which obviously isn’t enough for everyone. We have been allocated a further 25, but so far there is no news on when we will receive them. However, if you are in need don’t despair as we are exploring other options, so please bear with us and be patient. Whatever we do we won’t be able to provide a device for every child in school, but we will do our best to source as many as we can.I am hoping to start star of the week assemblies in the next few days.
The teachers have all told me their choices for star of the week and there are lots of children on the list. I know they have been sooooo impressed with the children learning at home and also the children in school. I am hoping to do a vimeo video, which will be emailed out- but again please be patient as it will be my first online assembly. You should have it by Monday. We all miss all of you, so stay safe and keep following the rules so we can see the children and families back at school as soon as possible.Love from Mrs Norman
