Autumn Term 2018

This term the nursery children’s topic is Superhero Me!

The children will be learning and identifying what makes them special, what they are good at and that their achievements are limitless. This learning will be completed through play based activities that develop new skills in all areas of the curriculum. The planning for the children’s learning is displayed in the classroom near the exit door if you would like to take a look.

You will also be able to see what your child has been learning by accessing your child’s 2 simple profile and the nursery blog! Look out for some great photos! Please also send us photos or notes of what your child has been doing at home through the 2simple access email you provided. We love to see them!

This term some of the nursery children will have the opportunity to be involved in Forest schools. Mrs Cook, our Forest schools leader, creates amazing outdoor experiences for our children creating intrigue, excitement, awe and wonder! Photographs of these experiences will also be displayed on the website and nursery blog.

On Tuesday, they did a superhero obstacle course, Wednesday was dressing up, Thursday they made superhero smoothies to make them fit and healthy and today they made their own superheroes with cardboard rolls.
